After trying to figure out which California hot spot we wanted to visit, we finally settled on traveling to Santa Barbara. Airfare seemed to be a bit too expensive when flying into the Santa Barbara Municipal airport. So instead we decided to track it up to LAX and take the Pacific Coast Highway down to Santa Barbara. In the middle of Malibu we decided to stop to get something to eat because the kids seemed to be hungry and cranky. Food here was priced relatively well which was a bit of a surprise seeing as it is California after all.

Our family booked a weekend in Santa Barbara after deliberating over several other locations in California.
