Festival Menagerie In Alabama

Alabama may sound kinda boring to some people. But it is actually chock slew of different and varied festivals that you’d never imagine anyone could fit so many in one year. Alabamans know this fact and they sure are heck proud of it. The biggest attraction to boot is the Mardi Gras, an international festival of color, fun, dance and music. Did you know that it actually started in Alabama and not in New Orleans? The festival is slated right after Easter, which is a good time to get people hyped up for happy times and dancing. Mardi Gras is visited by people around the state, and is a good opportunity for you to get to know the state more and more. There are balls, and street dancing, and floats and food booths (cant live without them). Cuisine from varied regions culminate in this arena of festivities.

The village that is Mansfield may seem to be the unassuming generic town you’d associate the name with. But it is actually more than that. Mansfield has been living the good life and celebrating the wonders of it side by side nature. It’s one of those feel-good things you rarely come across in your life time. And after mushrooms, Mansfield says that corn bread has got to be one of the best things you could come across your life. This is the Mansfield Village Cornbread Festival.
