Naturally, when people think of luxury, they think of the Caribbean islands. If you have never heard of Mauritius, you need to start looking and learning. It is a primarily French island just off the coast of Africa. It is located in the southwestern portion of the Indian Ocean. It is approximately five hundred and sixty miles to the east of Madagascar. Mauritius is not the only island in this chain. St. Brandon Island, Rodrigues Island, and Reunion Island are all nearby. Just to give you a clue as to how interesting the island of Mauritius can be, it is the only location known for producing the dodo bird.

No doubt, you are already familiar with the opulent city of Dubai. It is extremely luxurious. It is also has the distinction of being extremely rich when it comes to diversity and different cultures. However, although you might expect ethnic tension, Dubai is one of the most relaxing, down to earth locations you can find. With its delicious, diverse cuisine, its yearly entertainment offerings, and its stress free atmosphere, it is a dream destination for many. Plus, you have a very good chance of seeing a Bollywood film in the making!

Given that it boasts the beautiful city of Bangkok, Thailand is naturally an exciting location. When you want to go on a vacation and experience as much excitement as possible, this is where you need to go. Everywhere you look in Thailand, there is something to dazzle the eyes.

Last but definitely not least, there is Malaysia, which is located in Southeast Asia. Rather like Thailand, it can offer you the best of both worlds. While it is easy to experience as much luxury and decadence as you like, that is not all there is to offer. A very ethnic, very cultural location, the landscape and the environment will surely take your breath away.

Not so very long ago, it seemed like only the very wealthy, well to do people out there could afford to even think about going on a luxury holiday. That is partly because the typical locations were so exclusive. Neither of those things are true any long. If you want a little luxury, it is right at your fingertips. All you need to do is think about where you want to go. Once you have made that decision, as you can plainly see, the world is your oyster. There are destinations all over the world which you can choose to visit.
