Someone who has just embarked upon learning to speak the German language would soon begin to realise the never ending benefits that learning the German language presents. Its clear presence as a language thats spoken in a number of locations across the world indicates its value in a nutshell.

The German language is the official language of a number of countries around the world including its homeland Germany as well as being spoken in Austria, Switzerland and Belgium. A search of the internet on the search engines would bring up a range of different podcasts that one could use to learn to speak the German language; however one increasingly popular method is to download and make use of the free podcasts off iTunes. There is a vast number of individual and grouped podcasts available to learn German.

A word of advice with the podcasts would be to look around as there are a number of useless podcasts out there. Look carefully at the ratings by other users and choose them. Also downloading your podcasts and putting them on your mp3 player to listen to at home, on the bus or just before bed is a fantastic way to get the knowledge sinking in.
